Africa and people of African origin have always proved to be powerful in making good books and literature. Example is the writing known as the “Proto Saharan” discovered near the Kharga oasis west of “Nubia” and dated at least 5000 BC. The book, The Kebra Negast written from the 14th century AD is also one of the earliest literatures in Africa.
Today, powerful literature are still born by African writers.Â
This platform showcases some of the modern literatures being published in this 21st century in the United States of America written by people with African origin. Â
